Bodegas Marqués de Riscal (winery), in Elciego
Marqués de Riscal is one of the top wedding venues in the Rioja region. It is situated in Elciego, not far from both the cities of Vitoria and Logroño.
The winery and hotel building are by themselves a landmark to the whole region. The hotel building, designed by Frank Gehry, is spectacular and looks great as background for wedding pictures. The food quality and all other services offered are excellent. The winery area is huge, so there is plenty of space to celebrate a civil wedding ceremony in the gardens.

Bodegas Marqués de Vargas (winery), in Logroño
The two things we love the most about Marqués de Vargas, situated in the outskirts of Logroño, are the house where both bride and groom can get ready, and the large tent where the wedding reception is held. It looks especially good at night, and the party can be held outdoors, which is a bonus point to this wedding venue.
Another advantage is its proximity to Logroño, and the gardens, large enough to hold a civil marriage ceremony. The catering company serving the wedding has a Michelin star, so the quality is very high. A wedding in Marqués de Vargas is also a great choice.
Eguren Ugarte (winery), in Laguardia
Wedding in Eguren Ugarte is a good option since everything during the wedding day, from getting dressed to the final party, can be held in the same place. Eguren Ugarte is a winery situated near the beautiful medieval town of Laguardia, not far from both Logroño and Vitoria. Surrounded of vineyards, the venue has a small, very cozy hotel, two different wedding reception spaces -a cave and a warehouse-, and gardens where you can celebrate a civil wedding ceremony.
